Q: How did you get into motocross?

I always loved bikes and I had a really good friend that rode dirt bikes. After finally talking my parents into buying me one, I was hooked and we rode everyday!

Q: What is your favourite trick and why?
My favourite trick is definitely a whip, they feel super cool and stylie which is definitely why I enjoy doing them so much.

Q: Where is your favourite place to practice?

Camp down in Oliver definitely takes the cake on that! Kyle Demelo has a palace for dirtbikes down there, everything you need to suceed in the world of moto!

Q: What music do you like to listen to as you are jumping, getting pumped up to ride?

Punk rock! It's the only music anyone should listen to when they are going to ride!

Q: Where is the coolest place you have travelled to perform, compete?

I've been quite a few places, but to be honest I enjoy performing in the Okanagan by far. It's home and it's beautiful.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

Definitely riding my first backflips out to dirt earlier this year, it was something i wanted to do as a kid. I wanna keep on top of them and I hope to keep progressing with it!

Q: What advice do you have for those wanting to get into motocross?

Practise, practise, practise! That's the only way your going to suceed at something, make it perfact!

Q: What is your favourite thing about riding?

Definitely the freedom! It takes everyday problems or issues and makes them dissappear for the time, that and it's the coolest sport in the world!

Q: Where is your hometown?

My hometown is in Kelowna, British Columbia. Absolutely love it there!

Q: Do you have any nicknames?

Bainer, and you will have to ask Jeff Fehr about that one as he was the one who made it up!

Q: What do you like to do when you aren't riding?

I like getting out to the lake and enjoying the Okanagan heat!

Q: If you weren't doing motocross is there another sport you would like to pursue?

That one is hard to say because I've been so involved in moto, but i do love watching my football!

Q: What is your best FMX moment?

Just being around some of the riders I ride with. Watching some of the things that happen at camp and watching the progression there and being apart of it when I am there!

Q: What is your favourite food?

Tacos! And, burritos haha, anything mexican!

Q: What is your favourite bike to ride?

I'm a diehard Suzuki guy for life!

Q: What is one thing you never ride without?

Fuel!!

The Mega Motocross show will be performed on Lakeshore Drive in front of Okanagan Lake Park on Aug. 9 at 1:30 and 3:45 p.m., on Aug. 10 at noon and 3:30 p.m. and Aug. 11 at noon and 2:30 p.m.
