The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will make a quick touchdown at the Penticton airport on July 18.
Snowbirds committee chairman Fred Trainor said Snowbird 10 and Snowbird 11, also known as the advance planes that land before the show planes to scout the area, are anticipated to land at the Penticton airport around 10:30 a.m.
The other nine planes should be flying in about two hours later and touching down at the airport at 12:30 p.m.
The Snowbirds will only be in Penticton for a few hours as they refuel and make their way to Boundary Bay for their performance on July 20.
They will be back in Penticton for their Peach Festival performance on Wednesday, Aug. 7, which goes from 6 to 6:45 p.m. They will be joined by the SkyHawks, who will perform for one show only on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 5 p.m., landing in Okanagan Lake Park.
