Kiddies' Day and Parade Information & Registration
The A&W Kiddies Day kicks off with well-known children’s entertainer Cotton Candy. A&W Kiddies Day events are scheduled from noon to 3 p.m., followed by regular Peachfest entertainment until 10 p.m.
In addition to live entertainment, the free fun includes: face painting, a petting zoo, bouncy castles, a waterslide, balloon animals and a lego play table. The petting zoo is sponsored by Home Hardware.
There will be an admission charge for pony rides and for Shooting Star Amusements rides in nearby Rotary Park.
The Kiddies’ Day Parade is back again this year and is expected to have
more entries than ever before! Children between the ages of 0 & 12
are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons or scooters in the
wildest and most creative way possible then show off their creations in a
one-of-a-kind parade down Main Street. There are amazing prizes for
People’s Choice, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place plus the Grand prize of a new
bicycle. This is a
very special parade and we encourage you not to miss it. Bring your
Judging will take place at 11 a.m. on Main Street between the TD Bank and the City Centre Building, then at 11:30 a.m., the RCMP and a Penticton Fire Department truck will lead the participants north on Main Street, east on Lakeshore Drive and into Okanagan Lake Park through the Centennial Plaza entrance. Prizes will be awarded at the Main Stage in Okanagan Lake Park directly after the parade.

Rules and Regulations
- No Motorized Vehicles
- Helmets must be worn while riding bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, etc.
- Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of entrant must be present during and after the Peach Festival Kiddies’ Parade
- No food or glass bottled drinks during the Peach Festival Kiddies’ Parade
