Films submitted to the Reel Peach Film Festival will be highlighting the hidden gems of Penticton and Wine Country. Films will be featured on the main stage of Peach Festival.

Reel Peach Film Festival Information

Showcase your commercial or short video in front of 5,000-plus viewers. We are looking for more than a few pretty pictures strung together — there should be visuals that entertain and creatively tell a story about the Okanagan that evokes community pride, call to action or an emotional response. The festival is open to professionals and wannabe film makers. For more information and to register please visit


  • The festival entry deadline will be Aug. 5, 2019
  • Entrants will also have the opportunity to have their work showcased by Tourism Penticton through their upcoming social media campaigns


  • The films will be featured on the main stage of Peach Festival each evening just prior to the entertainment portion


  • Submissions are to be family-friendly — TV commercial content (no nudity, swearing, excessive violence, etc.)
  • Each submission will grant the prize sponsor (Tourism Penticton) the non-exclusive use of all or part of their submission for tourism and/or regional promotion
  • Filmmakers can submit one to three-minute commercials or short films in one of two categories

1. Liquid Libations: any commercial or short film concerning Okanagan wine, craft beer, distillery, cidery or juice/soda
2. Okanagan Experience: any commercial or short film showcasing an Okanagan experience including arts, culture or tourism

  • Prize money for each category
  • 1st place is $1,000
  • 2nd place is $500
  • 3rd place is $250
  • Fan's Choice is $500
