Penticton Peach Festival (cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19, returning Aug. 4-8, 2021 pending Provincial Health Orders) is an annual South Okanagan Valley tradition, which began in 1947, to celebrate the peach harvest in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.
Corporate Team: (8 Adults max., unlimited kids under 12).......... $50.00
Family Team (6 Adults max., unlimited kids under 12)............... $25.00
Youth Team (Age 13 -16, Maximum 8 team members)................$20.00
Kid’s Team (Age 12 and under)..........................................$10.00
(Kids category will get a 10Ft. X 10ft. square plot and will be allowed to build for one hour, after which their sculpture will be judged and the winning prize awarded. If parents wish to direct children’s activities please enter the Family Team category.)
Registration at the beach: 4:00 pm near the Sun Dial. (Please make cheque payable to Penticton Skaha Community Projects
Society. Sculpture time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm except for Kids entries which will be 5:30-6:30 pm.
Rules & Regulations:
1. No Motorized Vehicles
2. Helmets must be worn while riding bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, etc.
3. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of entrant must be present during and after the Peach Festival Kiddies’ Parade
4. No food or glass bottled drinks during the Peach Festival Kiddies’ Parade
Indemnity Agreement & Consent
Signature(s) indicate I/we agree to comply with the rules & regulations prescribed by the Peach Festival Society, and agree to save and hold the Peach Festival Society and the City of Penticton free from any action resulting from any loss or damage to person(s) or property whatsoever, arising out of participation in the Peach Festival Kiddies’ Parade. By entering, participants grant the right to the Peach Festival Society at their option, to air or publish the entrants name, photograph, and or likeness without further compensation.
All parade participants will receive some goodies and will be entered to win the grand prize of a new bike from the Bike Barn and a helmet from the Brain Injury Society!
