The Penticton Peach Festival is in full swing, and as we approach the weekend, get ready for an evening of tribute magic (thank you to our sponsor RE/MAX) that will have you dancing to the legendary hits of not one, not two, but three incredible tribute bands!
Dreams: Bringing Fleetwood Mac to Life
First up, we have Dreams (6 p.m.), a remarkable Fleetwood Mac tribute band, will grace the stage, filling the air with the enchanting melodies that have captured hearts for decades. Immerse yourself in the magic of “Rhiannon,” “Go Your Own Way,” and other iconic hits as Dreams pays homage to this legendary band.
Arrival: ABBA Extravaganza
Get ready for a dancing frenzy with Arrival, the sensational ABBA tribute band! Relive the disco era as they belt out ABBA’s greatest hits, from “Dancing Queen” to “Mamma Mia.” The energy, the costumes, and the pure fun will have you grooving all night long. They will be on the Peters Bros. Paving stage at 7:30 p.m.
Eagle Eyes: Rocking the Classic Tunes
And as if that weren’t enough, we have Eagle Eyes, taking us on a journey through the timeless classics of the Eagles starting at 9:30 p.m. From “Hotel California” to “Take It Easy,” their authentic sound and captivating performance are bound to transport you back to the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll. Get ready to sway, sing, and air-guitar to your heart’s content!
Other exciting events happening on Friday
But that’s not all the Peach Festival has in store for you on Friday! Remember, the Penticton Peach Festival is a five-day, FREE family event, and this is your last chance to experience the Home Hardware Kids Zone in Gyro Park from 9 a.m. to noon. Watch the Okanagan Aerialists dazzle with their aerial performances, and let the kids enjoy a range of fun activities that will leave them with smiles as big as peaches! Then head over to Okanagan Lake Park for a full day of events that can be found on the entertainment schedule by clicking here.
And for the thrill-seekers, catch the Canadian Tire Mega Motocross for its grand finale at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.! Watch in awe as top professional riders from across Canada defy gravity, performing jaw-dropping tricks off ramps using over 300 feet of performance space. Not to be outdone, the Havoc scooter team will also be showcasing their incredible stunts that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
Tonight is also the crowning of Miss Penticton and the two princesses at 7 p.m. at the Cleland Theatre. If you can’t make it to the event, catch them in the Peters Bros. Grand Parade the next day!
