Take a journey through time on RE/MAX Tribute Night

Get ready to transport yourself through time, with classic hits that have shaped the landscape of rock music, at the Penticton Peach Festival RE/MAX Tribute Night.

The highly anticipated evening of music takes place on Friday, Aug. 9 and features three phenomenal acts, including the Yellow Brick Road Experience as the headliner, along with American Rock Legends paying homage to John Fogerty, CCR, and Bob Seger.

The Yellow Brick Road Experience, promises a spellbinding showcase of Elton John’s greatest hits, from Andrew Johns and his all-star band, The Jets. From classics like “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Your Song” to crowd favourites like “Tiny Dancer” and “Saturday Night’s Alright,” audiences are in for a night of pure musical magic.

Featuring renowned musicians including four-time Juno award winner Julie Masi from the Parachute Club, and the Uptown Hornz three-piece horn section, the Yellow Brick Road Experience guarantees an evening filled with nostalgia, passion, and unparalleled musicianship.

Each act brings its own unique energy and pays homage to some of the greatest icons in rock music history. It’s an honour to host these talented performers, and we can’t wait to see the audience’s reactions,” said Peach Festival entertainment director, Alysha Forrest.

Adding to the excitement, American Rock Legends will take the stage with a tribute to John Fogerty, CCR, and Bob Seger. Centerfield, starring Dan Hare, promises an authentic recreation of CCR classics and Fogerty’s later hits, capturing the essence of one of rock music’s enduring icons. Meanwhile, Night Moves, also starring Dan Hare, will transport audiences back to the ’70s and ’80s with an electrifying tribute to Bob Seger, featuring his timeless hits that dominated the airwaves.

Peach Festival is a five day family festival that takes place in Penticton from Aug. 7-11. There is no charge for admission to any of the musical entertainment, or to view any of the events.
