Redesigned Penticton Peach Festival float keeps turning heads in parades

The Penticton Peach Festival won the Best Festival category in the Penticton Western News Best of the South Okanagan awards.

The Penticton Peach Festival begins on the morning of the first Wednesday after the long weekend in August, (Civic holiday) and runs for five days in Okanagan Lake Park, finishing on Sunday night. Our volunteer run festival is one of the largest free family festivals in Canada and we are celebrating our 73rd year in 2020. You and your family can expect a variety of activities including the annual downtown Peach Bin races, Shooting Star Amusements midway (Rotary Park), square dance festival, sandcastle competition (Skaha Lake near the sundial), crowning of Miss Penticton, Sheila Bishop Memorial Wooden Bat Slopitch Tournament (Lions Park), PenTown Throwdown Skateboard and BMX competition (Penticton Youth Park) and the Kid Zone (Gyro Park). Our Peters Bros. Grand Parade is one of the largest in B.C. and there is a kiddies parade for the little ones too!
