Nice Horse joins Tim Hortons Country Night lineup at Penticton Peach Festival

One of the most buzzed-about acts in the Canadian music industry, Nice Horse, is coming to Penticton Peach Festival.

Nice Horse, will join the Tim Hortons Country Night lineup on Thursday, Aug. 8 with headliner Steven Lee Olsen. The duo will replace previously announced Lydia Sutherland as the opening entertainment for the evening.

Nice Horse, featuring the talented Katie Rox (vocals/banjo/acoustic guitar) and Brandi Sidoryk (vocals/bass), has made significant waves in the country music scene. The pair have earned two Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA), eight CCMA nominations, and 10 Country Music Alberta Awards. They have performed at renowned festivals across Canada including Boots & Hearts, Cavendish Beach Music Festival and the Calgary Stampede. Additionally, Nice Horse has toured alongside legendary artists such as Tom Cochrane and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Their latest album, released on April 19, has further cemented their status in the music industry. Previous notable singles like “Cowgirl” have achieved impressive milestones, reaching #31 on Billboard radio charts and amassing over 1.8 million streams. Their single “Pony Up” was featured on the hit Netflix show My Life With the Walter Boys, which topped the global Netflix charts for three weeks. The DIY video for the single “High School” has over 203,000 views on YouTube, hit number one on Stingray Hot Country Videos, and won a Canadian Independent Music Video Award.
